HOLOGRAM IS THE STUDIO practice OF
artist, designer + writer LARISSA ERIN GREER
I am a studio artist in training, a creative director by trade... and an entrepreneur at heart.
I'm interested in working on projects that bring real, meaningful change to our society, our planet, and our collective culture. I hold an MFA in studio art from California College of the Arts, and my work is focused on re-thinking food, fashion, tech, retail, media, and digital publishing. I've spent my career working on innovation projects with established brands like Williams-Sonoma, GAP, Target, Walmart, Ford, Facebook, and Levi's—while also spearheading creative development for new companies like Shopkick, BloomThat, Doughbies, Miss Jones, and Curious Elixirs.
More about my weird and wild career here.
I currently work as a creative consultant to IDEO, and as principal creative on Hologram's always-evolving list of projects.
I am also grateful to mentor art and design students at California College of the Arts and U.C. Berkeley.
Hologram is the space where everything happens. I engage in a working studio process, where ideas are constantly evolving and taking risks is the norm—and enjoy working with small businesses, emerging technology, early-stage startups, innovation teams, and on experimental product development projects with future-minded folks.
I believe everything can always be better. Want to hang?
